• Roughly how many properties are on the network, and how many networks if it is a portfolio.
• The general setup: how the heat is generated, whether whole buildings are metered, automatic meter reading (AMR) or manual reads, and the billing system.
• The problem you are trying to solve, in your own words. The shorter and plainer the better.
• Any timing pressure, for example a tariff review date or a board paper deadline.
