How Litra Consulting works With you, not instead of you.

Litra Consulting works alongside your team rather than in place of it. We hand over the questions and the disciplines, so your team can run them without us.

Principles

Three things we hold to, on every piece of work.

Capability transfer over outsourcing.

Our deliverables include the workings, not just the answer. Process notes, templates, a log of the queries we ran, the spreadsheet your team can run themselves next time. The aim is a heat network operator that needs us less every year, not more. If we have done our job, the second piece of work is shorter than the first.

Shaped to the network.

There is no one-size platform. We shape each piece of work around the project, the customer, the technology and the issues in front of us, because there are too many variables for a blanket offer to hit the right objectives. The work itself is specific and time-boxed. That might be a 30-day review of a network's data, an annual tariff review or a quarterly report on outliers. Clear scope, clear price, clear handover.

Discretion, not noise.

Our work is covered by non-disclosure agreements (NDAs). We treat consumption data, billing detail and tariff workings as confidential. Client names stay internal unless the client has given permission.

How it goes

A first piece of work is planned like this.

Week 1

Scope and data access

NDA in place, scope confirmed in writing, data access agreed. We read what you have: billing exports, automatic meter reading (AMR) data, building management system (BMS) feeds, tariff workings, the complaints log. Then we write back with what we need that we don't have yet.

Weeks 2–3

Read and reconcile

The actual work: reconciliation, outlier identification or analysis of what is missing, whichever applies to the scope. We work in the open with your team.

Week 4

Findings and handover

A short, specific report: the findings, the analysis and the actions, with a clear plan for your team to deliver them. The aim is to keep control with you, make the best use of your own resources and keep costs low.

After

Ongoing support

We stay in contact to provide ongoing support. Operating and optimising a network is not a one-off exercise. The aim is for it to get easier and quicker each time, as your team becomes more proactive.

Sound about right?

If working with you, not instead of you, matches what your team needs, we would like to hear about your network.
