Most heat network consultancies operate on an outsourcing model. They arrive, take over the bits they like, and leave the operator dependent on them. We do the opposite. We work alongside your team, transfer the questions and the disciplines, and leave you stronger.

Principles

Three things we hold to, on every engagement.

Capability transfer over outsourcing.

Our deliverables include the workings, not just the answer. Process notes, templates, query logs, the spreadsheet your team can run themselves next time. The aim is a heat network operator that needs us less every year, not more. If we've done our job, the second engagement is shorter than the first.

Right-sized engagements.

Most operators don't need a multi-year transformation programme. They need specific, time-boxed work that moves a specific thing. We package most of our services as scoped engagements, a 30-day network read, an annual tariff review, a quarterly outlier report. Clear scope, clear price, clear handover.

03.

Discretion, not noise.

Our work is bound by NDA. We don't run conferences, sponsor podcasts, or trade on case studies. Operators trust us with sensitive consumption data, billing detail and tariff workings, and we keep it sensitive. The trade-off is that this site is light on proof. The trade-off is worth it for the people who hire us.

How it goes

A first engagement usually looks like this.

Week 1 Scope & data access

NDA in place, scope confirmed in writing, data access agreed. We read what you have, billing exports, AMR data, BMS feeds, tariff workings, complaints log, and write back with what we need that we don't have yet.

Weeks 2–3 Read & reconcile

The actual work. Reconciliation, outlier identification, gap analysis, whichever applies to the scope. We work in the open with your team rather than disappearing for six weeks and re-emerging with a deck.

Week 4 Findings & handover

A short, specific report. The findings, analysis and the actions with a clear plan on delivery and implementation by your team. Gives you power, uses your resources to the best way and keeps costs low.

After Ongoing support

We will stay in contact with you to provide ongoing support. We know that operating and optimising a network is not a one hit wonder, but the exercise becomes easier and quicker as we aim to help you become pro-active.
